(I am so sorry that I could not find the picture seriously-I spent more than three hours. Maybe it is very unknown one. Please understand me)
I went to a Museum called Islamic Arts Museum. I was really interested in watching some pictures and thinking about them. In ESL class, we had to choose one picture and describe it. It was very amusing activity since we needed to watch the picture really carefully and describe it in detail.
I have chosen the picture from Steve McCurry's photograph. The title was "Boy playing with football. " It was taken in 1998, Morocco.
Watching pictures makes me think more creatively. The picture made me feel and think a lot of things even though it does not explain or say anything about the boy. The photograph just caputred the moment and it is not moving like movies, but it seems to tell me a lot of stories. It makes me wonder who the boy is and why he is playing there alone.
First of all, the boy was trying to kick the ball so his leg was a little shaking. He looked excited. I think the focal point in this picture was his ball. The ball was light red so it just made people's eyes go to the ball. Furthermore, the background was really vivid. The colors of doors and walls were very bright.
I believe that the boy was really poor and he had no place to stay. Yet, he looked somewhat happy notwithstanding his unhappy situation. Frankly, if I were in his shoes, I would not be happy as he was. I learned from him that I should be happy even though something bad happens.
